I am so tired of feeling like crap...
I hate that I can't go one god damn day without coughing so hard I throw up my dinner.
I also hate feeling so god damn tired all the time. I miss being able to stay awake past 11:30 at night. Though the whole being up at 6:30am for work doesn't help that one.
I'm just...blah. It's the Holidays and all I want to do is curl up in my fuzzy blanket with my Teddy and sleep it away...and it's not for lack of having things to do or the lack of enjoyment of family, it's just that I have no energy.
To top it off, there's some mouse sized thing living in my room. I have no idea how a mouse got to the second floor of the house and into my room when it's completely closed while I'm away but it did. I wake up this morning at 5am to the rustle of something on paper and my cat is trying to pounce it. My Mouser, the orange cat formally known as Dexter, is currently hunting it. In the, he only leaves my room to use the litter box and eat kind of way. He came downstairs with me after I was done getting ready, ate some food, looked at me for one brief moment, and then bolted back upstairs to go back to hunting. If he can catch and kill it, all the better for me, honestly. I'm not telling my Mom and Dad until I absolutely have to because I'll get this giant lecture about knowing better and keeping my room clean and blah, blah, blah. And since the only things in my room AREN'T food (I specifically do NOT bring food to my room ever anymore), I have no idea why it's there except that it's probably warmer than anywhere else it could have been.
It also means that a major cleaning of my room is in order while I'm home. First on my To-Do list is to finish pulling the paper out of the DVD cases and boxing those up and getting them out of my room. I was going to recycle them, but since Dad does DVD stuff for people, he'll store them and keep them and that way he doesn't need to buy boxes for the DVDs he sells like ever. I don't care so long as they're out of my room. 250+ plastic boxes? Gone! My video games will go in the little plastic DVD organizers I have, which is actually a plus since they were just stacked hap-hazardly next to the system before. And I figure this process really won't take me past tonight as I've got a quarter of it done already. Dad wants me to keep the little paper with the title of the movie so we can put them in a book and he can know, without asking me, what movies I have so he and mom don't accidentally buy one I already own. It's a good plan since we share movies.
After that's done I'm planning to start going through the stuff and clearing away the pile I think the mouse is hiding behind. The less clutter in my room, the faster and easier Mouser will be able to find and catch what's there. Or I! can find and catch what's there. I really have absolutely no fear of mice or rats. It comes from a babysitter of mine owning them so I used to play with pet ones and the fact that I've always wanted a snake and with that comes the knowledge that I'd have to feed it mice or rats.
Mom also suggested that to organize my books, since I have more than I have shelves for, we take the paper boxes that reams of paper come in, cut them down so only one level of book fits in it, and box my books up that way. This way, the boxes themselves aren't that heavy because it's only one level of books, and I can mark on the cover what books are in what box and still be able to get to them should I want to read them. I really kind of like this plan too. I think it will go a long way in organization until I can get a place of my own with enough shelf space for my books.
As well, here's hoping that I get to leave a little early from work today.
