Best Monday ever!
Apr. 24th, 2006 01:58 pmToday has been a great day.
Which is something that seems odd to say as it's Monday, and those are usually my worst days.
Because I went to bed early like Woh! I was actually up about half an hour before my alarm. That's right, I was up voluntarily at 6:15am this morning! I don't think that has ever happened before. Like ever. E-V-E-R!
I'm too much of a night owl usually.
Class was interesting. We learned about the signs for depression and what was going to be on the test for Wed.
As Mr. Wood was telling us to have a good day the projection machine, lights, & computer went off.
Turns out the whole town lost power this morning at about 8:45am.
Classes to be canceled until noon. Which meant the only other one of mine and T's.
So T & I made our way down and meet Schubert and Erin in the front lobby of the school. We talked. Hans showed up looking like a terrorist as usual. All the the people we knew went out for breakfast, which sucked because none of us have money right now.
So, on the way to the cars Schubert ditched us for Wendy's, and T stole Hans's iPod. And then drove him home. Then Erin & T came back to my place and I made pancakes!
It was a fun morning full of entertaining talk, entertaining tv, and delicious food because I am a talented cook. And if you don't believe me and your passing through Chicago, make a detour to Berwyn and I'll prove it! Granted that offer only lasts so long as I don't move out to NIU or down to Southern.
