horrible day...
Apr. 9th, 2006 08:57 pmSo, today started out alright. Dad and I actually got the car packed and unpacked this morning without any fighting.
Unfortunately, apparently that's against the cosmic rules or something. Me and dad getting along. Because the big plastic cases that all the jewelry is in? Yea. One slipped and I dropped it. And of course, dropped them a couple of times onto tables before, and never broke. But apparently it hit the right angle because one side broke into several pieces. Still salvageable, with the use of duct tape. But it doesn't look at all professional and whatever word dad was yelling at me this morning. Honestly I ended up not hearing him this morning until he calmed down.
As Susan said to me a couple hours after everything, with her hearing my dad. "Shit happens. You pick up the pieces and move on as you can."
Two tables away from us, was the SWORD GUY! OMG...he was even nice enough to offer me the sword set I wanted with the trust that I'd pay him, but I don't have the ways to get the means to pay him right now. SO! I have his card that I can call or email him after I get the means. Japanese sword set here I come! YES!
Ha, he also had this really cute dagger that was a dragon head but a sea horse tail. Uber cute! So mine next time I see him, because that was only $15. And there's actually a possibility of asking dad for the $$ when I don't drop things. Though, it won't be until like..June-ish I think.
We're missing the next Crafty Crafters because there's another craft show the same day and we sell more at the other one, and where the buyers are, we go.
But, YAY! Cards!
And, tomorrow be 24. I still need to watch last weeks. *eyes tape* Tomorrow afternoon! Not like I have much else to do around here while dad's on the comp. all afternoon.
