Quick pop in between classes.
Talked to dad a bit, partially about last night and America, and partially about the website for the fest, since it's all shiny now. Not as much as it will be when we can get pictures on the site, but new and pretty is still new and pretty.
Found the website for a fest that was made because certain people are jerks...And yea, with the nice explanation of events that will go down at their fest, I'm sitting here going, it's a crappy rip off of my(our) fest. I say my because I'm coordinator this year, and was last year. But, it's exactly like the fest that's been held for the last 32 years. Opening, Closing, Main, labyrinth, hold my space plan, pre-reg prices, talent show...though we feed our people Saturday...they're making people do a potluck thing instead.
Just irritates me to no end. I want to strangle these people. Not only are they doing a crappy version of our fest, in the hottest month of the summer no less, but they're acting like they have this great new idea. Yea...you want a new idea? GO CREATE YOUR OWN EVENTS. Don't steal the ones that have been set into motion by other people. Cockbites.
